چکیده
Complex geometric optics solutions to a system of d-bar equations appearing in the context electrical impedance tomography and scattering theory integrable Davey-Stewartson II are studied for large values spectral parameter k. For potentials q ∈ ⋅ − 2 H s ℂ some 1 , it is shown that solution converges as series / k . being characteristic function strictly convex open set with smooth boundary, this still holds = 3/2, i.e., ∣ instead The leading-order contributions computed explicitly. Using K-Branch Entropy Solutions forMultivalued Geometric Optics Computations
This paper is devoted to a numerical simulation of the classical WKB system arising in geometric optics expansions. It contains the nonlinear eikonal equation and a linear conservation law whose coefficient can be discontinuous. We address the problem of treating it in such a way that superimposed signals can be reproduced by means of the kinetic formulation of “multibranch solutions,” original...

This paper is devoted to the study of nonlinear geometric optics in Colombeau algebras of generalized functions in the case of Cauchy problems for semilinear hyperbolic systems in one space variable. Extending classical results, we establish a generalized variant of nonlinear geometric optics. As an application, a nonlinear superposition principle is obtained when distributional initial data ar...

متن کاملEfficient Parallel Solutions to Some Geometric Problems
This paper presents new algorithms for solving some geometric problems on a shared memory parallel computer j where concurrent reads are allowed but no two processors can simultaneously attempt to write in the same memory location. The algorithms are quite different from known sequential algorithms, and are based on the use of a new parallel divide-and-conquer technique. One of our results is a...
